Where can you still really put the pedal to the metal these days? The Lycos offers the freedom of the open road – there is no speed limit here. It is built for anyone who wants to push the limits, and because it runs on wind power, it emits zero CO2. The design of the Lycos 2.5 PS is uncompromisingly focused on speed, and that is even more true for the latest version.

For 2026, we have equipped the Lycos 2.5 PS with our new kite sail fabric, made from recycled coastal waste. That improves response and – your ecological footprint!

Thin, aerodynamic profile
Profile support system
High-aspect sail for better performance
Ultra-thin Dyneema lines
V-profile for fewer lines
New for 2026: optimized silhouette for better handling in turns and tight loops
New for 2026: recycled 50D Ocean Material™ polyester kite fabric for an even more direct response
New for 2026: completely redesigned bag and graphics
With this configuration, the Lycos unleashes its raw power and speed, even in moderate winds. Pilots have plenty of opportunities to truly get everything out of it.

And because a serious speed machine deserves a serious garage, the Lycos comes with a stylish bag – although it probably won't spend much time in there.

Lycosidae, or wolf spiders, do not spin webs; they stalk their prey. Some species are among the fastest spiders in the world.

Due to the enormous speed and pull that these kites generate, we recommend the Lycos only for experienced pilots.

Please note: this kite is supplied without flying lines.
The manufacturer recommends 100 - 150 daN Dyneema flying lines.
