The Quantum is not only the ultimate choice for new pilots, it is also our most popular sport kite. With its impressive wingspan of over two meters (221cm), this is a full-sized kite that provides great excitement across a wide wind range with serious pull. It is designed so that you can get the hang of flying it right away. Due to its wide wind range, adjustable bridle lines, and light, strong carbon frame, the Quantum is the kite of choice for easily learning to fly without ever outgrowing it.

Our innovative shock absorption system in the tail and the Kevlar-reinforced nose are designed to protect your kite during unplanned landings. Once you have mastered the basics of flying, you can easily “tune” the kite to make tighter turns, generate more pull, and get a sportier response. "Tuning" the Quantum is done easily by choosing a different preset on the bridle lines. The Quantum was designed with the same precision and attention as our high-end competition kites. That is exactly why the Quantum has gotten so many people into flying. This kite is our absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to start in the sport of kite flying.

Design details

Crash protection for new pilots.
Our innovative shock absorption system in the tail and the Kevlar-reinforced nose are designed to protect your kite during unplanned landings.

Advanced tuning.
With the special bridle lines (lines attached to the kite), it is easy to adjust the kite's responsiveness to your skill level. A beginner pilot starts, for example, with the forgiving setting. This makes the kite easiest to steer and allows for wide turns. As your skills increase, you switch to a more radical setting for snappy turns, greater pull, and more advanced tricks.

Adjustable turbo bridle.
The geometry of the bridle is easy to fine-tune for light to strong winds. It is not necessary to change the factory settings of your bridle, but if you decide to do so, you will have an even greater wind range to fly in. Simply slide the knots toward the “light wind” setting in a light breeze or slide them toward the setting for “strong wind” on days with heavy wind. To prevent “over-tuning,” there are markings on the bridle.

Two-piece leading edge and spreaders.
This allows you to easily store the kite in its bag of less than 92 cm in length, making it easy to carry in a suitcase or backpack.

Custom molded leading edge connectors.
Designed to allow for some flex with the leading edge. These special connectors prevent breakage at the weakest point.

Color-coded line attachment clips.
These make it easy to attach your lines without having to tie knots.
