Kite Aerial Photography (KAP) is photography achieved by lifting a camera with a kite.
The camera is controlled remotely or takes aerial photos automatically and can be attached directly to the kite, but it is usually suspended from the kite line in a special rig.
This capability allows pilots to take photos of landscapes, objects, architecture, and people in a whole new way.

KAP began in the late 19th century.
Aerial photography with kites is, in fact, one of the oldest forms of remote sensing of the Earth's surface.

The KAP Foils, developed by the German kite enthusiast Ralf Beutnagel, are reliable and highly stable lifter kites for flying a camera.

They have been used successfully since 2006 and have impressed many Kite Aerial Photographers with their flight characteristics.

The wind range of the KAP Foil is quite large.
These kites perform very well even in ground winds.

Even the KAP Foil 8.0 is more than strong enough to lift a heavier camera in low wind speeds.

All KAP Foils are stable in higher wind speeds without swaying back and forth.

Recommended kite line: 150 daN

KAP Foils generate significant pull
For experienced kite flyers only
Strict supervision regarding the designated age and wind speed is highly recommended
